Experiments in porcelain/ Damaged porcelain is considered inferior. I wanted to create porcelain which obtains its real quality - its character - through breaking. I conducted several experiments with breaking, perforating and predetermined breaking points. By using laser technology I could create glassy, sometimes almost translucent, parts in the material. Beside being aesthetically appealing these glassy structures function as predetermined breaking points.
