Recycle Chess is 100% made out of recycled materials. The single figures - king, queen, rooks, bishops, knights and pawns are made out of the glass stoppers of regular wine bottles. In Viennese bars these beautiful stoppers get thrown away in great quantities everyday. To use these valuable objects in order to create something else is a logic consequence for me. The engraved marble board is a leftover of a gravestone.
